I didn’t know it at the time, but anal city was a shopping centre, as I mentioned earlier. We walked back there as a group in the morning….. eventually. The aesthetic of the place was very cool. Nick will get this, but it was giving off bioshock vibes, but more modern rather than 70’s America. The whole trip I have been searching for a belt that cost less than at least $40 which seems to be the status quo for some reason, and I finally found one for $10. I’m very happy to actually wear my pants like a normal human being instead of wearing them like an ill mannered rapper from the 2000’s. We all split up at some point and explored a little bit. To no avail I searched for gifts for my loved ones back home, and I’m getting more concerned and worried about what to bring home for people. I then proceeded to take a giant shit for 20 minutes. It was particularly difficult because this toilet seemed to have achieved a level of sentience that surpasses the other sentient shitters in Japan. I’ll leave out the details but it was frustrating having to fight it.

We regrouped and there was a group of little kids, or rather groups of little kids performing dances to music in the main plaza. They were all pretty good, but honestly they have nothing on prime Natalie hui, then again that’s a given. A brief intermission saw a water show to accompany that one song from phantom of the opera that everyone knows, which was actually really cool. It’s a shame that immediately afterwards the mood was completely shattered by possibly the worst “rapper” I’ve ever heard, who somehow managed to fuck up using auto tune. I know computers historically are much smarter and faster than people, but this guy honestly might have been the first person ever to outsmart the machines, because frankly it had no idea what the actual fuck to do to his voice. I regret not recording it, but honestly it was for the better. After some time, us white folk wanted to see the castle, which was also on the agenda for the day, however the rest wanted to keep shopping, so we left to see the sights. After a 30 minute walk in leather school shoes that I thought would look cool and not have any physical drawbacks whatsoever… we arrived at the park. It was pretty cool but nothing we hadn’t seen before. We took some time to rest or a little plateau overlooking the city, before going to explore the castle.

Beanie was getting agitated at my sudden decision to take like 100 of the greatest photos of all time that were totally way too good for anyone to comprehend, and I mocked him saying that the castle wouldn’t fly away in the 5 minutes I was taking to take some photos. Little did I know my arrogance would get the best of me and I’d be eating my words, because when we reached the top of the hill, it was evident that, in fact, the castle had indeed flown away. Grappling with this gutting information, we continued walking for a while to lake with a little island in the middle. There was a tiny tiny man made river thingy alongside a footpath in which lots of tortured looking koi fish were swimming, so I got some photos of them, aswell as the lake and location as a whole.

We met up with the others, and they got the train back, which I instantly joined them for given my current foot situation. We got back and we discussed plans, as we were meant to get a river cruise a bit later at night, however people were feeling too tired. Linus Peter Mike Jason and I all went to get some ramen from a local place, and irritatingly they were lit of chicken ramen, so I tried some pork. Sorry mum and Nat but I still hate it. I’m sure it was cooked alright but I just am not a fan. Afterwards, Linus beanie and simon wanted to see more of the city, like Toby beanie and I did the night before, so we took them the to place where they got the hot chocolate. Unfortunately the market was closed so we went and did some more exploring and found a very cool looking vintage store with both some very cool and very questionable clothing. Ultimately we decided to go home and hit the hay
