Japan day 14

Having gotten to bed at at approx 2-230 in the morning the night before we relished in relaxation as we slept in till about 11. Following a quick raid of our favourite local super market, Aeon, we went shopping for some more trinkets and joys. We walked for a little while and found ourselves down one of those shopping centre sorta streets. The ones with all the store fronts facing the alley out in the open, but still with a built roof top kind of thing. Beanie had a place in mind from a reel he had seen, as the reel promised great clothes at cheap prices. Unfortunately it turns out that the store from the video was a chain and so google maps led us to a different place.

Luckily for me however, I noticed they sold vinyls. Remembering that my beautiful sexy sweet perfect girlfriend had bought me a record player I realised I could start a vinyl collection. Naturally I went straight to the jazz section to look for my idol and surprisingly found him almost instantly, which gave me hope I’d find some more, however it seemed I got the last Sinatra vinyl in the whole store. Picking up a Nat king Cole record, and some others things, I went to the counter and happily left the store with my purchase. We all then moved onto a cheap clothing store which I wasn’t initially too interested in, until I was recommended some cargo pants. I didn’t think I’d like it and I couldn’t really be bothered taking off my shoes and pants and waiting in this outrageously crowded store, but I tried them and honestly I fell in love. They’re were stylish and practical. Deciding not to wait 15 minutes in the tax free queue at the checkouts I copped the extra 10% charge and ended up having to wait for the others regardless.

Waiting outside was unenjoyable to say the least as there was a constant smell of cigarette smoke, but the others didn’t take too much longer, and we went onto another place that Linus spotted online. This op shop was more like a warehouse, it was huge, and the clothing was actually appropriately priced for one. Much to my dads disappointment no don’t, we spent hours in there finding cool, wacky, and random items to try and laugh at. Frustratingly, just about every single thing I wanted and that looked cool was too small except for these badass purple pants which were $90 (which there was no chance I was paying for). Others will say it was a sign from god but fuck you all I think purple is an awesome colour and is underrated and underused in clothing. After finding the coolest jacket in the world for beanie, we tried to leave without Toby and Harry finding out there was a Pokémon card section

Leaving for home, Harry wanted to stop off where we were earlier to get some clothes he wanted, and we made dinner which the first night was chicken katsu. Despite taking hours to reach our tables as we only had a small rice cooker between 9 people, the food was fucking delicious. You know what wasn’t fucking delicious? The state of the fucking kitchen. Needless to say a slight scolding was given to those who cooked as I cleaned up. We then watched even more jjk till too early o’clock in the morning and went to bed.
